Why Do I Need A DIY Tint Kit?
We offer specialized tint for Acrylic Plexiglass and Polycarbonate windows. This tint has specialized proprietary glue that allows the tint to stay attached to Acrylic Plexiglass and Polycarbonate plastic windows. Standard window tint will not stick well or last without peeling or bubbling to this type of plastic window. Our Specialized tint kit solves this problem. These plastic windows absorb moisture on high humidity days and exude that moisture vapor on low humidity days, leading to the blistering, bubbling, and failing of standard regular tint products. Our tint has specialized adhesive that is not affected by the absorption and release of this moisture so it remains secure. For these reasons, this material is simply expensive.
Tinting your construction equipment’s doors and windows offers many advantages to the machine operator. The tint will help hold the polycarbonate together in the event of the door being hit and cracking or shattering occur. The operator will get some much needed relief from the heat on those hot summer days with the tint’s heat reduction properties, increasing the machine’s AC efficiency. The tint will dim sunlight and ease operator eye fatigue in bright light situations.
*Tint for all polycarbonate windows/doors will be a rough cut of that window's dimensions as it is hand cut due to the tint’s properties. It is not pre-cut. You will need to trim and adjust to your machine’s window.

Window tinting items are cut and sourced when you make your purchase. For these reasons, we are not able to offer refunds or accept returns.
